Bill Spragins, a director with FMI in Denver, CO, recently joined the CI Board of Directors as Director of the Services Directorate. In this capacity, he oversees the activities of the service oriented technical committees and provides guidance on fiduciary, fiscal, and strategic planning matters. Bill holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from the University of Denver. He has been with FMI since 1987, and in that time, he has gained a multitude of experience consulting for organizations in the construction industry. He serves as FMI’s leader in project-specific partnering and teambuilding. Bill has lead his consulting teams to produce award winning work. His teams have been recognized with awards such as the AGC Marvin M. Black Excellence in Partnering Award and the National Quality Initiative Achievement Award. Bill contributes to industry publications such as Construction Business Review, Dodge Construction News, and The Contractors Management Journal. He also speaks at functions for construction industry organizations.
