Penetron’s capillary crystalline waterproofing technology is its most distinguishing feature which sets it apart from traditional surface sealing products. Through this mechanism, Penetron reacts in the presence of moisture with the normal by-products of cement hydration and the unhydrated cement itself to create a permanent, non-soluble crystalline structure that grows deep within the concrete mass filling its pores, hairline cracks and capillary tracts and preventing the ingress of water from any direction.

Once Penetron treated concrete has cured, the active chemicals remain dormant and will reactivate and continue further crystalline growth if moisture should recur sealing off any additional cracks that may have formed.
